    Maybe A Bad Batch?

We have purchased the regular sized boxes a few times and the dates were excellent. These snack packs however were not great for some reason. The dates are quite dry and several are covered in a white film (maybe crystalized sugar?) that is quite thick. Some taste almost rancid. Unfortunately they aren’t edible.
