However, as California growers, we must rely on Mother Nature, sunshine, and patience to grow the best Medjool dates. As for Ugglies, your hearts really spoke and sold us out in April--showing that you truly don’t care about perfect looks, just sweet taste and good value. Since Ugglies (aka imperfect fruit) are “not-up-to-spec,” they were limited last harvest. We’re not sure what the 2025-2026 crop year will bring, so stay tuned for updates on this imperfectly perfect love story 🩷
